Our Story
At Havu Snow we make high-quality skis with innovative eco-friendly construction for use in freestyle, freeride and all-mountain skiing. We are a group of skiers united by a love for the mountains and strive for perfection in making the best pieces of equipment – for you, and the environment.
One day 7 years ago, we decided to try to make a pair of skis. They came out better than we expected but we wanted to learn more. We made a second pair, third, fourth and so on and every pair looked better than previous one. It was addicting. When people started to ask questions like “what skis are those”, “where did you get them” there started to form an idea – Maybe we could sell these to people?
We continued to build more skis and snowboards, experiment with different materials to minimize the carbon footprint and of course test them as hard as possible to see how durable we can make them. We learned a lot and bought new machines. It opened up many new possibilities on what we can do. Progress continued and suddenly it started to look like we really could start selling our creations to all you snow lovers.

Since the very beginning our goal have been simple. We want to make change. To make the most sustainable and ecological products on the planet. We want to get away from plastic and other harmful materials to protect our winters and save the earth. So, we have worked tirelessly for many years to find the ways to maximize the amount of superior natural renewable materials and use only the least possible amount of plastics. We have spent countless hours developing and testing to find just the right ingredients to make this happen. It has not been a simple task but totally worth it – Nothing can beat the natural feeling of this construction and its positive effects on the earth.
We will continue to push the boundaries of whats possible with Bio-materials and will work tirelessly also in the future to still lower our environmental impact. – Because we strive for perfection.
