Our Story
At Havu Snow we make high-quality skis utilizing innovative, bio-based materials designed for freestyle, freeride, all-mountain and backcountry skiing. We are a group of skiers united by a love for the mountains, striving for perfection in handcrafting high-performance equipment- for you, with a commitment to reducing environmental impact.
In 2017, we decided to try to make a pair of skis. They came out better than we expected, but we wanted to learn more. We made a second pair, third, fourth and so on, and every pair looked better than the previous one. It was addicting. When people started to ask questions like “what skis are those?” and “where did you get them?”, an idea started to form – maybe we could sell these to people?
We continued to build more skis and snowboards, experiment with different materials to reduce our carbon footprint, and of course, test them as hard as possible to see how durable we could make them. We learned a lot and invested in new machines. It opened up many new possibilities for what we can do. Progress continued and suddenly it started to look like we really could start selling our creations to all you snow lovers.

Since the very beginnin, our goal have been simple. We want to drive change in the industry by crafting high-quality skis with a strong emphasis on sustainability.Our focus is on replacing traditional materials with high-performance renewable materials to help preserve winters we love. We have worked tirelessly for years to increase the use of natural resources and keep the amount of plastic to a minimum. We have spent countless hours developing and testing to find just the right elements to make this happen. It has not been a simple task, but totally worth it – nothing beats the natural feeling of this construction.
We will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with bio-materials and will work tirelessly in the future to lower our footprint further. Because we strive for perfection.
